Video Game Therapy
For many children and teens, video games are more than entertainment—they are social spaces, problem-solving environments, and places where identity, confidence, and connection are explored.

Video game therapy meets young people where they already feel engaged.
Instead of viewing gaming as something to eliminate, this approach uses it as a tool for connection, emotional insight, and skill-building. When used intentionally in therapy, video games can help young people practice communication, emotional regulation, frustration tolerance, teamwork, and confidence in ways that feel natural to them.

For some clients, sitting face-to-face and talking about emotions can feel overwhelming or forced. Gaming creates a more comfortable starting point for conversation and reflection.
